Coastal Inpatient Physicians offer inpatients the following care:
- Medical admission and evaluation for full range of medical conditions
- Collaboration with other providers and case management to develop comprehensive medical care plan
- Discharge planning
- Medical consultation and evaluation for subspecialty patients
- Perioperative medical evaluation and management
- Pre-operative Risk stratification
- ICU and critical care management for medical conditions
- Communication with outside primary care providers during and following hospitalization, including provide documentation and telephone consultation when necessary
